LCM Review: Oliver Spencer SS14
With models of different ages and races (not of different shapes and sizes though), Oliver Spencer certainly had the most inclusive runway of the season and has successfully shown us that his SS 2014 collection is equally suitable for men of different ages and with different styles.
Despite avoiding bright colours, Spencer also had one of the most varied palettes ranging from yellow and mustard, red, blue and green to black, beige and grey. His trousers were rolled up to expose the ankles to give his looks a modern feel, while his shirts, t-shirts, jumpers, suit jackets, coats and cardigans were rather casual and comfortable, neither over-sized nor with a slim fit and distinctly casual, rounded shoulders.
It is clear that Oliver Spencer set out to create a collection that will be loved by a large variety of men, and he has certainly succeeded. The very casual feeling of the clothes, the variety in colours and the sheer subtlety of it all are bound to be a hit during the next british summer.
