Riccardo Tisci extends Givenchy contract
Givenchy and Riccardo Tisci, a partnership that was first forged back in 2005, is set to continue. According to reports, the Italian designer, who generated substantial buzz at Givenchy, has recently signed for another three years as creative director at the French house.
Capitalising on the recent success of Tisci’s must-have printed tees and sweatshirts, the brand is said to be entering “expansion mode”. Givenchy was not present on the Paris couture schedule, announcing in December that it would be taking a break from producing its seasonal couture line in order to concentrate on bespoke “special projects”.
